The War of the Worlds: More than a Little Eerie!

I saw the film The War of the Worlds tonight. It resembled the H. G. Wellsbook, but with all sorts of new twists. I recommend it highly, as long as you’re not one of those folks as I was when I was a kid and want the movie to follow the book, chapter by chapter, word for word.

For those who have already seen the film, you know what I’m saying when I related that when the exited the theater we encountered one of the wildest electrical storms I have ever experienced. The sky was filled with lightening and the thunder sounded like when I was an armor officer on the tank firing ranges. It was more than a little eerie after seeing The War of the Worlds!
