Louisville Balloon Glow

Last night we attended the Adam Matthews’ Balloon Festival on the grounds of Louisville’s smaller airport, Standford Field. It is billed as one of the five largest balloon festivals in the United States. Below are some of the pictures I took at last night’s “balloon glow.” The last picture is of the base of “The Louisville Clock.” Proceeds from the festival are going towards its restoration.

  4. Anonymous 1 & 2: Yes, it was a good time. The figures at the base are about ¾ natural size. I am told that there were more than 50 balloons at the Balloon Glow.

Jody: Yes, the “big man” is also a balloon. There is a big cow, too, that is a balloon.

    Abby: Thank you.
