A Great Day!—No Foolin’!

It’s been a great day here in Louisville. The weatherperson on TV didn’t fool me about that: the temperatures reached close to 70 F and didn’t start its downward movement until about 7:00 p.m. With today being April Fool’s Day, I figured the fabulous forecast may have been a joke on the part of the meteorologists. It wasn’t. It’s been a great day.

Alex and I spent much of the day outside. We even took a couple of walks around the neighborhood and I was able to snap some pics of my housemate:

This one is blurred. I took it as we left home and Alex didn’t want to pose. He wanted to get going.

Have you ever tried to “walk” a cat? At least with Alex, one walks where he walks and he frequently checks to see if you are following.

Of course, at times he stops, stretches and rolls, especially on the sidewalk.

But then, once one catches up with him, he watches you closely and if you try to walk past him, he’s up and ahead of you in a split second.
