Actually, this photo was taken yesterday, a day filled with activities for me. So much so that I don’t know when Alex hopped on the computer and turned it on. I know that I turned it off after posting the Too Bad It’s Monday jokes.
No matter what Alex may say on his blog, writing was not the purpose for which he nested on the computer. I believe it was because Tasha, my VA supplied housekeeper, and I were working in the kitchen where Alex’s favorite nesting and napping spot—beside the heat register—is located. The computer was another warm spot and Alex took advantage of it.
All of yesterday’s activities fatigued both Alex and I. Thus we spent most of today napping. I rather hope that doesn’t lead to both of us being awake all night.
Ha ha, i have a photo of one of our cats "surfing the web" i will have to post it, its very similar!
ReplyDeleteDoes Alex try to chase the curser like ours do?
Pol x
He's a beautiful cat
ReplyDeletewills will come and walk all over my keyboard when i am blogging too. inbetween shoving his head into my neck and purring like a choo-choo train.
ReplyDeleteThat poor computer! Does it ever get any rest?
ReplyDeletealex is soooooooo cute
ReplyDeletehaha - Good old Alex! It's so funny how certain things trigger memories and sometimes the trail is very feint! This reminded me of how my daughter used to go to sleep when I put her little baby chair on top of the washing machine.
ReplyDeleteOh and Nick-napping and cat-napping sounds good to me! :o)
Oh nick! I must so post pics of the kitties for you.

Nick, this is absolutely adorable! You should take some video footage and put it on Youtube. People love this stuff!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say thank you- for your support and encouragement and words of wisdom. You're one of the people I wrote about today.
{{hugs}}
You're truly a blessing!
And he likely leaves fur in between the keys.
ReplyDeleteAhh.
Isn't it strange how they always know the warmest place to be?
ReplyDeletehope ur cats claws r trimmed
ReplyDeleteMy friend, the life of the Alex has been a martyrdom, but today not, today it is very patient. Congratulations
ReplyDeleteGood week for Alex
My cat, Corky, thinks about hopping on my keyboard but so far she hasnt quite made the leap. Thanks for the link Nick. I'll be sure to do the same. Cheers!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! He's sooo darn cute! Alex can sleep on my puter any time he wants. I'll type around him.
ReplyDeleteAlex is a sweetheart and so are you! He is so pretty...I won't say you're pretty too...that would be strange...
ReplyDeleteLet's face it Alex is one cool cat!!
ReplyDeleteOh man. Your laptop looks trashed. Fir in between the keys.

~Oswegan
That is a charming story and a very cute kitty.
ReplyDeleteAlex is smart for have chosen the comp. And does it look cute?
ReplyDeleteHope you had plenty of rest after the fatigue.
Well, Rev Saint, is Alex hogging the computer the cause of you taking a day or two to respond to my emails? Just teasing; I know you still have that “damnably slow” Internet connection.
ReplyDeleteAlex the computer geek! Heheh! He won't like me for that, I bet.
ReplyDeleteLoved your jokes...I remember the one about the mailman from ages ago, only it was a milkman and the wife said something a bit more profane then "screw"!
Pepper, my girl kit, she is a fan of laptops as well...and especially if you are trying to use it, she'll walk on the keyboard, just to make her presence be known!:-p
ReplyDeleteHaha!! Guess you're spending a little too much time on the 'puter and not with the cat??
ReplyDelete` Laptops are not cat hair-proof heaters....
ReplyDeletePurrrrhaps he's waiting for an email! :)
ReplyDeletesoooo... were you awake all night!?

My first cat, "Z", used to jump up on my chest when ever I was laying on the couch with my laptop in my lap. He didn't seem to like that I was giving the computer more attention than him.
ReplyDeleteNow of course, with his playmate, Scrappers, he pretty much ignores me when I am typing.
Later
Lou
Cute story
