I'll be at work, but I KNOW that I, and the rest of the 97% of us there who voted for him, will be gathered around the office television around noon Eastern Time. Hard to believe this long, long reign of King George is about to end.
I watched the news clips of the inauguration and parade when I got home this evening. Then I settled in to watch the balls. The Neighborhood Ball really impressed me. President and Mrs. Obama look so regal and down-to-earth at the same time.
a great way to have spent the day! and how are you? i think of you often but haven't heard from you lately - i hope you are doing well. ditto for alex.
Happy Wednesday! Bloghoppin' here... Hey, I have an interesting tutorial for you that I have written myself. It is about adding Adsense on your Single Post in XML template. I hope you'll like it! God Bless you!
We got to see it at work. I feel like I'm in on the ground floor, so to speak. I did a bit of campaigning for him around my neighborhood. I certainly voted for him and spoke out when others go the facts about him and his policies slightly wrong.
And now I've watched him swear to protect the Constitution.
Good on you, Nick. Give Barack my best wishes.
ReplyDeleteI'm watching the Australian Open (international tennis).
I'll be watching as much of the inauguration as I can get away with at work.
ReplyDeleteI really have come to love that Ally Ally Oxen Free song. I'll be whistling it all day.
I'm jealous. I'll be at work today, and busy so I won't get to watch any of it.
ReplyDeleteWonderful have a great day!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy. I, too, will be working. But I'm sure there will be plenty of video available for my viewing pleasure later.

ReplyDeleteI'll probably tune in for the actual event, but will skip all the pre-game hooplah.
I too will be watching the Australian Open
