What Shall We Do Tomorrow?

This morning I asked the furball--I mean Alex--"What shall we do to celebrate tomorrow?"

Being a cat, Alex just looked at me as if I were crazy. I really don't think that he appreciates the importance of Independence Day. Being a cat, Alex takes his independence for granted. Hmmmmm...perhaps we Americans do the same.

Anyway, Alex suggested that we do the same thing tomorrow that we did yesterday, which was to "play" outside on our deck:






And, if I want to grill some yummy beef while we are out there, Alex thinks that will be a grand idea!

    I think I've said it before, but Alex and Jessica (my cat) would get on really well. Both seem to enjoy a life of leisure and are completely spoilt!!!

    That sounds like a great plan. I could never everbe a vegetarian.
    I like the statement that most folks are like cats, take their freedom for granted.
    Now what kind of beef do I wish to cook. Remember the old lady on the commercial that asked "Wheres the beef?" Have a happy 4th. Peace

    That is one smart cat. Every day we celebrate our freedom. Every day we pray for the freedom of those who aren't free.
