Neither Alex nor I could sleep last night. If it wasn't me waking up the cat by sitting up in bed, it was the cat waking me up by walking on my head. I don't know how many times we got up, messed around, and then went back to bed.
During one of those awake sessions about 4:00 a.m. or so, while I awaited Alex's return from catting around outside, I located these quizzes at Warlock's Quizzles and Quandaries. Too bad I didn’t it before Halloween!
Of course, I took these just for the fun of it (and to spend the time awaiting the homecoming of the cat who owns me). However, now, in the 6:00 a.m. almost daylight of non-Daylight Savings Time, as I read them, I am again amazed at what seems to be the accuracy of some of the information and how it jives with my INFJ profile. (By the way, my Myers-Briggs profile is based on the long, professional, expensive questionnaire, not on the short ones found in books and on the Internet. I first took it in 1978 and retaken it twice since. The primary changes has been that almost thirty years later I am less introverted and more intuitive than I was when I first took it),
Two examples from the Warlock’s quizzes that seem to me to fit my INFJ profile are:
The Hanged Man: signifies selflessness, sacrifice and prophecy. You make yourself vulnerable and in doing so, gain illumination. You see the world differently, with almost mystical insights.
Vampire Clan: you aren't really sure where you belong. You tend to wander and do a bit of soul searching in your eternal life.
You may judge for yourself what seems to be me and not me:
The Tarot Card that I Am

You are the Hanged Man
Self-sacrifice, Sacrifice, Devotion, Bound.
With the Hanged man there is often a sense of fatalism, waiting for something to happen. Or a fear of
loss from a situation, rather than gain.
The Hanged Man is perhaps the most fascinating card in the deck. It reflects the story of Odin who offered himself as a sacrifice in order to gain knowledge. Hanging from the world tree, wounded by a spear, given no bread or mead, he hung for nine days. On the last day, he saw on the ground runes that had fallen from the tree, understood their meaning, and, coming down, scooped them up for his own. All knowledge is to be found in these runes.
The Hanged Man, in similar fashion, is a card about suspension, not life or death. It signifies selflessness, sacrifice and prophecy. You make yourself vulnerable and in doing so, gain illumination. You see the world differently, with almost mystical insights.

My Vampire Clan

|
You aren't sure where you came from. Perhaps your sire did an embrace and run. Or maybe your sire was an outcast himself. Either way, your powers are unique and really don't belong to any clan...or maybe a little from each. Because you of these circumstances, you aren't really sure where you belong. You tend to wander and do a bit of soul searching in your eternal life. Maybe some day...you have a while after all.
