Over the river and thru the wood,
To grandfather's house we go;
Well, it really wasn’t “over the river” because we gathered from and on the
Kentucky side of the
Ohio River. And it was at “grandmother’s house”—my mother’s house—rather than “grandfather’s house” for an early Christmas celebration:

Nick,
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed this one. Printed it so I would be able to show it to Betsy. (She never gets on the computer)
We hadn't seen the kids for so very long, had forgotten what they looked like.
Thanks gobs...............Uncle John
Neat pictures.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good family gathering - hope you have a great Christmas. ec
ReplyDeleteHi, Nick! I really like the pictures and I TOTALLY understand blurry pictures of little kids!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome family! You are truly blessed!
ReplyDeleteSee what a great family you have to live for? I think you look fine. Lose a few pounds and search committees all over the US will want you to be their interim. Really, I think it is as simple as that. Life doesn't have to be so complicated. Yes, I know you have had a lot to deal with.
ReplyDeleteAwww, fabulous photos. Love the house all decorated, looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteMerry christmas Nick. And why 'sometimes saintly'? You're a full time saint, aren't ya?
