My awakening thoughts this morning were a (Zen?) haiku that I believe I first encountered many years ago:
Cold, yes,
But don't test
The fire, snow Buddha.
I really have no idea why those lines were in my mind.

Sometimes I wake up with strange things on my mind...but I don't recall any of them being haiku's.
