Christmas Morning

It’s 5:00 a.m. on Christmas morn and Alex and I are up like two kids who couldn’t sleep awaiting the moment when they could jump out of be to see what presents under the tree.

Of course, there are no presents under the tree here. All of the Christmas gifts for my family and friends were wrapped by Tasha yesterday morning and are now (hopefully) in a place where Alex can’t attempt to sharpen his claws on the wrapping paper or shred the ribbons.

I just realized that I am the only one awake! The furball, after demanding breakfast, has gone back to sleep on his towel next by the kitchen floor heat register. Silly cat!
