Winter Storm Photos

Part XIII of The Muffin Saga, that I posted earlier today, is one post down. However, I want to share these photos of the continuing snow storm that Alex and I shot at noon today. I include Alex in taking the photographs because I would not have opened the back door had the furball not pestered me to go outside. Of course, Alex did not hazard the nasty fluffy water and got no closer to it than the first photo below.

You may click the photographs for a larger view.

  2. Well I for one like snow earlier in the season. Now it is just time for the snow to be over although it is lovely looking... sort of. I can not believe how much snow you guys got for a place that does not get a lot of snow in the winter time. Thanks for sharing.

  4. Oh, I've been wishing for one more good snow storm this season, so I can snuggle down with my family one more time - before they start going a million miles an hour in every direction for the spring. It looks like I'll have to wait for next year. Things are supposed to warm up starting next week here in Kansas. Oh Well, I I have to go set the clock ahead now ! Hope that you and Alex enjoy a good cuddle !

    Take care,
    Susan

  5. Wow I can only imagine real proper snow like that for so long lol...

We are having typical British weather, last weekend it was so spring like and one could sit in the garden with a book and only a T-shirt, then during the week we had hard frosts, and then a hail stone storm.... and now severe weather warnings are forecast for today....... its been torrential rain for 20 minutes and now brilliant beautiful sunshine.... CRAZY BRITISH WEATHER lol

    Happy Sundee ((((Saintly))))

  9. I love the photo of Alex standing at the doorway; he needed you to open the door for him, that is just so cute. And the snow is lovely; we never get to see real snow. Perhaps once every 10 years. Pretty soon, I will be complaining about how hot it is down here.

  10. Wow, I could have made a really good Snow Angel there. Sam Cat my MIL siamese has been pestering us to go outside but alas just like Alex will only look out and not venture out. Peace

  13. Oh my goodness that's a lot of snow! Last night was one of the rare nights we had to turn our heater on because it got down into the 50s. That's cold for us!

  16. I can drive up into the mountains and usually see snow. Then I can drive home to the desert where there never is snow. Best of all worlds.

  19. Now I know what you mean by snowed in. I love snow too but I now I know how cold and uncomfortable that can get.

  20. In younger days I would have loved to be out playing in it - now I admire it from afar. Now if we could only get some "fluffy water" down here. Sad that Alex didn't want to get out and make a snow cat or something. ec

  23. Beautiful pics. I used to love snow as a kid. It made everything look so much prettier. Alex looks like my kind of cat. I am owned by Roscoe and Sasha, who are presently trying to drive me nuts.

  24. looks beautiful. just as well alex doesn't venture out too far, he'd get lost in all that snow with his white fur.
