Have a Blessed Lá 'le Pádraig (St. Patrick's Day)

Whether you call him ’le Pádraig, Saint Patrick, or Saint Paddy (but never St. Patty), March 17^th is his day.

Of course, you know the story of the great Irish Saint? No, I do not refer to the legend of him driving the snakes—a.k.a. the British—out of Ireland. That happened about 1462 years after his death. I mean the story of St. Paddy’s life and the legends about him.

For the past 35 or so years I have been reading everything I can about Ireland. My library has a relatively large collection of book and my music collection has lots of CDs of Irish songs.
