The Brilliant Wisdom of Mark Twain

Samuel L. Clemens (Mark Twain)
November 30, 1935 - April 21‚ 1910

“I came in with Halley's Comet in 1835. It is coming again next year (1910) and I expect to go out with it. It will be the greatest disappointment of my life if I don't go out with Halley's Comet. The Almighty has said, no doubt: "Now here are these two unaccountable freaks; they came in together, they must go out together.” ~ Samuel Clemens

  2. I agree with Abby, Nick. Love all the quotes, especially the one about stupid people beating you with experience! I wish more people in my own country would read "Pudd'nhead Wilson".

    1. Thank you, Pat. When I was a child I read all of the "famous" Marl Twain Novel, Tom Sawyer, Huckleberry Finn, A Connecticut Yankee…, etc.. It wasn't until I was in my 50s that I discovered all of the other wonderful books. I hope this post inspires at least one person to delve into the wrings of Samuel Clemens.
