Merry Christmas, rhapsody! Thank you. To create the Christmas card, I used 2 programs: Corel Painter Essentials and Print Master. I am really enjoying playing with graphics. Here are so more on my newest blog, Nick's Pics.
When we sang "Silent Night" at Christmas Eve candlelight service, I always harmonized. My daughter so loved it, as we had our "duet." For 11 years, she has lived far away and we've been together on a couple Christmases, and every year, she gets teary-eyed when that ritual comes up at her church.
How beautiful is any tradition that keeps the ties secure over the miles and the years?
Merry Christmas,Lynilu! The candlelight singing of Silent Night has always been very special for me. Because of the German heritage of most of the congregations that I have pastored, I have always had at least one verse sung in the original German. Only the oldest congregants knew the German by heart, but I have always noticed tears in their eyes at the end of the service.
Merry Christmas Nick! I love your pic - did you do that?
ReplyDeletethe best to you all straight through the new year of double digits sandy
