well...you could also give it to a charity...there must be one in your area that takes old computers. They can clean them of old cathair and refurbish them for all kinds of different uses - often they get sent to developing countries or given to the CNIB to be upgraded for blind applications.
Now if the furr ball sheds into your new computer, I'd recommend giving ALEX to charity!
