Tagged? Me?

I was tagged for this by ~*SilverNeurotic*~ & since (1) Blogger is again not allowing me to post comments and (2) my blog posts since Monday’s jokes have been on the overly serious side, I may as well have fun with it.

A -Available/Single? Single—sometimes liking it, sometimes not liking it.

B - Best Friend? Until a few days ago, the Rev. Dr. Bob. However, he seems to have gone off the deep end with his detestation of the U.S. military. I do not agree with the Bush administration’s military adventurism and bullying of other nations, but as a former U.S. army officer, I do not blame our soldiers.

C - Cake or Pie? Pie...especially chocolate.

D - Drink Of Choice? A good Cabernet Sauvignon

E - Essential Item You Use Everyday? Computer

F - Favorite Color? Green

G - Gummy Bears or Worms? Neither, both are yucky!

H - Home or Homesick? Home

I - Indulgence? 4,000 books and Alex, the cat who owns me

J - January or February? February: I was born on Saint Valentine’s Day

K - Kids & Their Names? Nicholas Lawrence III & Robert Lawrence II, both born on June 12th, 4 years apart.

L - Life Is Incomplete Without? Music

M - Marriage date? Hell if I can remember & I was married for 30 year. It is something I have chosen to forget! (Yeah, I really do remember: March 21, 1970)

N - Number of Siblings? 1 pain-in-the-ass little sister (if at 56 she can still be considered “little’—hell, she’ll always be younger than me, won’t she?)

O - Oranges or Apples? Apples, just like in the Garden of Eden

P - Phobias/Fears? If I were begin to list them I’d probably go into a paranoid trance.

Q - Favorite Quote? Many. Here’s one: “Tell the angel who will watch over your future destiny, Morrel, to pray sometimes for a man, who like Satan thought himself for an instant equal to God, but who now acknowledges with Christian humility that God alone possesses supreme power and infinite wisdom.” ~ Alexandre Dumas (1802 – 1870) in the final chapter of Le Comte de Monte-Cristo.

R - Reason to Smile? Cat antics of Alex.

S - Season? Spring

T - Tag 3 or 4 people? Anyone who wants to do this one

U - Unknown Fact About Me? My hero (and sometimes alter ego) is Leslie Charteris’ character Simon Templar, a.k.a. “The Saint”

V - Vegetable you don’t like? Peas (yuck)

W - Worst Habit? Passivity with manipulating women.

X - X-rays You’ve Had? Leg, chest, shoulder

Y - Your Favorite Food? Pizza Hut Sausage & Mushroom Thin Crust Pizza.

Z - Zodiac Sign? Aquarius (what else could I be?)

  5. I knew some of that from reading your blog for so long. Why do you think Gummy Bears and Worms are yucky?

  7. I always have a hard time answering the "favorite color" question.

Favorite color for what? It varies: for cats, black; for flowers, white; for cars, blue; for clothes, tie dye…
